24 Seasons Art Cohort

In January 2025, Alexis launched the inaugural 24 Seasons Art Cohort. Using the structure of the 24 seasons and guided along the way by descriptions and inspiration, participants observed the natural world and created artwork inspired by each season. This meant creating a new piece of artwork every two weeks—or trying to get as close as possible! The group was more than just art; it became a space to share their observations, learn about each other as a group, explore new techniques and information, and ultimately form new friendships.

What Participants Say:

“After several months, I felt a sense of commitment. I also noticed that my imagination and my art was improving.” — Maria

“Even when things got really busy in life, making note of something that felt unique to each short segment of the calendar felt grounding and helped me maintain perspective.” — Christina

“It was easier to create art with an open theme. Knowing others were also creating their own unique art based on a common theme made the creative process much more fun, especially sharing it with each other. I definitely painted and drew a lot more this year as a result and enjoyed it more.” — May
